About Menaye Ideas

Home    :    About

Menaye Ideas is a creative art enterprise. We are into poetry performance (both African and contemporary), poetry production, poetry coaching, training and consultation, voice overs, event hosting, article and screen play writing, philanthropy and other creative art related activities. We have performed on several platforms and collaborated with several artistes like Obour, the former president of MUSIGA, Nana Asaase, Hashmullah, Dwomoh, Teacher Kwadwo, etc.
We have won several awards such as Tertiary Woman Poet of the year, 2021, Outstanding poet (floodlight Media Excellence Awards) and recognitions from institutions such as Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School, KNUST Medical School Project Committee 2018, YoKA, etc.
Our existence was birthed on 5th November 2016. This occurred at a seminar attended by the founder, Akua Safo (Menaye), which was organised by her colleague, Benny Nana Poku, at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. The seminar was Flowwealth Abundance Summit, at which one of the speakers were Ama Duncan, founder of Fabulous Woman Network and Ama Duncan Consulting.
Akua had an encounter with her which led to the birth of Menaye Ideas, a literary dream which started with poetry writing and graduated to performing, audio and video production, event organisation, and other listed services.
The dream is way bigger than the present and there is more to unfold in the areas of screenplay writing, book publishing and more as the years go by. That is why “Ideas” is part of our name. Menaye (Me na ye) is an Akan name which means “my mother is good”.

With a dream bigger than our heads, our mission is to inspire and entertain our audience and clients through excellent artistic performance and service. Our vision is to be an artistic energy of positive impact to humanity. We cherish the values of Passion for excellence: it is the fuel that drives our activities. Service to humanity: in unleashing our God given talents, we serve not ourselves, but every human we come into contact with. In our dealings with our clients, we maintain and protect our integrity and trustworthiness. Creativity and excellence: we are devoted to continuous learning and observation to polish our creativity and bring out the best in us. Pan Africanism: we believe the black man is capable, and a key way to black emancipation is embracing and living our identity.

We stand to promote our culture and heritage, and radiate hope to every Ghanaian and African. We work with • Institutions (corporate, churches, cultural, etc) looking for literary entertainment for their events (launch, dinners, awards, anniversaries, etc) or training of their people • Student bodies • Businesses who want to promote their brand • Individuals who need literary performance for their events (weddings, birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, etc), training for themselves or their wards. Our doors are always opened and we promise our connection will be a memorable and long lasting one.
